Gunn High School Robotics 2008
In college I went on to study mechanical engineering and I was a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers for three years, spending the latter two years as Vice President. I graduated from UC Riverside in 2012 with a bachelors in mechanical engineering focusing on design and manufacturing.
I interned with Team Phoenicia, a google lunar x-prize team, between my last two years at university and after I graduated I began working for them as a CAD specialist. I helped to design fuel injector nozzles, payload racks and test equipment working directly under the lead designer.
Later in 2012 I was approached by a high school friend with a design opportunity. He came to me with an idea for a smartphone game controller and after I did some concept sketches, we started to develop the designs and formed Immersa Labs with two other members. As a team of four we spent two years developing the Pocket Gamer eventually showing it at LAUNCH festival 2013 in San Francisco.
I am an engineer with a diverse skill set and an even more diverse set of interests. I have a passion for elegant design and finding simple solutions for complex problems. From a very young age I was introduced to building things helping my parents out with construction projects and various home projects. Then in middle school I had the opportunity to join a club program building electric go-carts. Throughout all of high school I was involved in a variety of art classes including sketching, pottery and sculpture and I was also a member of the robotics team. I found that the most engaging projects were those that combined my interests, challenging engineering puzzles that required beautiful solutions.

In 2014 I took over as the lead mechanical engineer and designer at Visor Corporation. Since starting with Visor Corporation I have taken over as hardware design lead responsible for PCB layout, fabrication and assembly along with my mechanical engineering and design responsibilities.
Menlo Park Boy's Gymnastics Team 2014
I was also a gymnast throughout my childhood competing at a regional and national level until high school. After graduating from college and moving back to the bay area I have started coaching a Boy's Competitive program in Menlo Park coordinating two assistant coaches and leading a team of 6-13 year old kids to multiple state and regional championships. Giving back to the gymnastics community and being a role model for these kids has become an important part of my life.
